It is with pleasure that the Bridgetown Area Sports Hall of Fame recognizes the accomplishments of individual and team athletes who, between the 1st day of October, 2016 and the 30th of September 2017, competed and won a championship at the Provincial Level, or qualified and competed at a level of competition beyond the Provincial realm. Accordingly, the Directors of the Bridgetown Area Sports Hall of Fame acknowledge the following athletes and their accomplishments.

Team Nova Scotia won Gold at the 2017 Girls U14 Tier 1 Atlantic Soccer Championships – Bridgetown player on Team Nova Scotia – Jenika Saunders
2017 – Provincial Senior Boys Singles Champion and Canadian Senior Boys Singles Champion – Represented Canada & England for the World Masters -Braedon Campbell
Provincial Junior Boys Singles Champion and Joint 3rd in Canadian Junior Boys Singles -Liam Campbell
Joint 3rd in Canadian Junior Mixed Doubles -Liam Campbell and Emily Alford
2017 – Team NS placed 2nd in the Canada Cup Points Tournament. (First time since 1989 to place this high.)
Canadian Senior Girls Doubles 2nd place -Tonya McGill and Taylor Probert
2017 – He qualified through singles; made the top 4 to represent Canada at the World Dart Championships in Japan -Nick Smith
*At the worlds in Japan, Team Canada placed 2nd in points play.
